Blank wood slice hang tags with a hole drilled at the top, ready to use.
These natural wood slices are ideal for hang tags, ornaments, gift labels and craft projects. Each piece is cut from real pine and left blank so you can customise them however you like.
They can be painted, drawn on (Sharpie and ballpoint pens work well), wood-burned, or used as a base for glued shapes, images or embellishments. Popular for craft projects, small businesses, classrooms and DIY gifting.
All hang tags are sanded smooth on both sides and cut from solid pine, ready to use straight out of the box.
Note: These are supplied with a hole drilled but do not come with twine.

Sizes refer to the diameter (measured bark edge to bark edge):
- Extra Small: 2–4 cm
- Small: 4–6 cm
- Medium: 6–8 cm
- Large: 8–10 cm
- Extra Large: 10–12 cm
Thickness:
- Extra Small & Small: ~5 mm
- Medium: ~8 mm
- Large & Extra Large: ~10 mm

Wood type & sourcing
These hang tags are made from radiata pine, harvested by Stringybark Supplies in Victoria. Radiata pine is not native to Australia; by harvesting it, we help create space for native species to regenerate. Each slice is cut, drilled and prepared in-house.
As a natural timber product, variations in grain, colour, shape and bark are to be expected and are part of the natural character of the wood.

We have quality control for every order to make sure your slices are:
- Flat and level
- Have no cracks or splits
- Uniform thickness (within a size range)
- Reasonably smooth surface (even when unsanded)
- Full ring of bark
- Within the stated size range
Please keep in mind wood slices are a natural product and they do differ in terms on shape, bark size and markings. Some pieces may have an occasional side branch nub.
Any pieces that don't make the cut for our standard listings, ends up in our seconds listing.
