Wood type: Poplar - an invasive species in Australia
Surface: One side sanded smooth - see final image for unsanded back side
Bark: 100% bark edge on all pieces - smooth bark
Cracking: No cracks - this species is quite resistant to splitting, but it is still possible under windy and/or hot/dry conditions.
Warping: Minimal warping
Additional notes: Some spalting and markings (similar to images). Many of the larger pieces are oval/egg shaped (like in the image), smaller ones are more round.
